Production
Shaumyan Plant is a lubricant manufacturer known in Russia and abroad. It produces aviation, engine and industrial oils, greases, metalworking fluids and special fluids for transport, shipping and industry.
The company's history began in March 1910 with a concession plant built by the Russian Joint-Stock Company Vacuum Oil. Until 1994, it was known as the Leningrad Experimental Oil Plant named after S. Shaumyan (LONMZ). On 15 March 2001, it became Shaumyan Plant CJSC.
| Raw materials and finished products are tested by the plant's own laboratory. The laboratory is accredited by the Russian national standards authority and registered in the State Register and with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Shaumyan Plant's quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2015. The plant is listed as a supplier for state defence orders. Aviation and engine oils supplied to Russian government agencies have received diplomas from the Logistics Service of the Russian Armed Forces. |
The plant keeps expanding its range and improving its formulations. Its laboratory carries out research into new lubricants, formulations and technologies.
