A marine working and preservative grease based on high-viscosity cylinder oil thickened with aluminium oleostearate. Thanks to its high tackiness and water resistance, AMS-1 is widely used in mechanisms of ships, submarines and seaplanes. It is used not only for equipment in contact with sea water but also for friction units submerged in water. Operating temperature range: from −15 °C to +70 °C. Apply at temperatures not below 0 °C.

AMS-1

DESCRIPTION

AMS-1 marine grease is a working and preservative grease for ship equipment and mechanisms in contact with sea water. Thanks to its high tackiness and water resistance, it is widely used for friction units submerged in water and to protect metal surfaces against corrosion.

The grease consists of high-viscosity cylinder oil thickened with aluminium oleostearate. This gives a stable consistency, long-term protection of parts and resistance to water wash-out.
